Today the wind is howling and the rain beating a relentless tattoo against the windows.
Was yesterday the last sunny bike ride of the year?
The Luton and Dunstable Cycling Forum organised a pleasant 8-mile out-and-back group ride from Dunstable to The Five Bells pub in Stanbridge, almost entirely off-road on NCN6.

Going down the Sewell Greenway (a disused railway line redeveloped and opened in 2004 as a shared use path for walking, cycling and horseriding) --

Inside, warm hearth fires and hot drinks. We then cycled back the way we'd come, with temperatures noticably warmer in the rays of the sun. A lovely, gentle day out.
